How Washingtonian Top Doctors Are Selected
Each year, Washingtonian Magazine surveys nearly 13,000 physicians across DC, Maryland, and Virginia, asking them to vote for the colleagues they would recommend in a variety of specialties. To ensure the process remains accurate and fair:
- Each voting physician must log in with a verified medical license number to complete the survey.
- Physicians can only submit one ballot each.
- Physicians are not allowed to vote for themselves.
The top vote-getters in each of the 39 medical categories receive the title of Top Doctor, with Dr. Brown earning his place among the elite in cosmetic surgery for yet another year.
